Agile

Agile Occupation Medicine is the nation's second-largest independent occupational medicine provider, with a growing clinic footprint. Agile was formed through the 2025 merger of Akeso Occupational Health and Agile Occupational Medicine, uniting two complementary organizations under a shared commitment to delivering timely, high-quality care to injured workers. Kain originally backed Akeso after watching the deterioration of service in the workers' compensation clinic industry — as the largest player closed and reformatted clinics into urgent cares, employers faced longer wait times and higher costs. The combined Agile platform now offers employers a geographically expansive, lower-cost alternative focused on speed of recovery and return-to-work outcomes. Agile continues to consolidate the workers' compensation clinic market, build de novo clinics, and develop new technologies to advance its strategy and potentially serve the broader market
